Teaching Approach
Catherine integrates the inquiry of healthy alignment, breath work and focus training. Her classes follow a well-rounded and intelligent sequence and are guided by specific instructions. Catherine invites her students to explore their individual physical structure, and encourages them to approach their practice with playfulness, awareness and ease.

Philosophy
Catherine is inspired by tracing the elements which sum up to build a stable structure for a ‘living’ pose. Imagine a yoga pose is not so much a static form but rather a structure that gives space to inner freedom and the movement of breath…

From Practice to Application
By cultivating curiosity, compassion and gratitude in our yoga practice we can train our mind to learn something new, evolve and appreciate what we have achieved. We can apply the same approach in everyday life: What is it that supports me? What does not serve me? What can I do to make a change?

Catherine works primarily as an organizational consultant and coach with a strong expertise in agile practices and self-organized learning. With her work, Catherine accompanies transformation processes and also offers leadership and employee trainings on mindfulness and resilience.

This blend of disciplines allows Catherine to bring a holistic and integrative approach to her work, inspiring growth and awareness both on and off the mat.

What students say:

“In Catherine's classes I find exactly this desired balance between powerfully executed asanas, strenuous holding exercises, moderate stretches, twists in all areas of the body and calm breathing and meditation exercises.

Through Catherine's clear and very sensitive instruction of each movement and all the movement sequences that build on it, her yoga classes are at the same time a relaxing meditation as well as an experience that challenges the entire body, but brings a great deal of happiness and contentment.

Catherine has the gift of formulating her movement instructions in a wonderfully understandable way, so that mind, body and soul feel addressed, relaxed and act powerfully and thus many positive energies are released.” - Nina
